New Design System + Complete Figma Designs & Libraries for a Global eCommerce Giant
I worked on transitioning and re-platforming the brand family of global websites (47 in total), incorporating 27 languages and 10 different currencies. The sites have an annual turnover of just under £2 billion, with over 350 million page views from 70 million visitors each year. My task was to visually translate the old website into IBM’s Carbon Design System, improving the user journey, accessibility and responsive unity across all breakpoints; documenting and designing each element with pixel perfection for IBM developers to bring to life.

Figma was the designated wireframing tool, of which I mastered and became the company’s inhouse unofficially appointed expert. Within my two year tenor, I put in place pixel perfect designs, including comprehensive Figma libraries, templates and variables; in order to perfect the new eCommerce global user journey.
